In blog posts I normally mention how my clients/couples found me, usually through an advertising platform such as The Knot, or Facebook. However Michaela and Kendrick have been dear friends of mine since our shared alumnus of Montclair State University. The three of us were all in the art/design program together, 10+ years ago. To this day I still cherish the memories we made together in Calcia 131 (the photo lab) and the digital/video editing lab in College Hall. When Michaela reached out to me about her wedding, I was so honored, and excited to catch up with her and Kendrick. Their wedding day went exactly as I expected. Michaela and Kendrick were so laid back and easy to work with throughout the entire day. I’d like to think that even if we didn’t have 10 years of friendship, that they still would have been their silly and in-love selves in front of my camera. Eventually I will share a full blog post that details their entire special day at The Mountain Lakes House in Princeton, I am excited to share this next day preview gallery. There were so many fun moments to pick from, but I narrowed it down here for everyone to enjoy. The first look was perfect, the light for the family photos was exquisite, and Michaela even surprised everyone (besides those who saw her getting ready!) with a traditional Chinese dress that she changed in to before the cake cutting. As I split time between Florida and New Jersey as a wedding photographer, I look forward to sharing more fun photographs.
