Lauren found my listing on The Knot, and contacted me about her wedding next Spring at the Station House in downtown St. Petersburg. After filling out my contact form, I had a phone consultation with her and her fiance John. We instantly hit it off talking about their careers, passions in life, and of course NFL football. Their favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, happened to be playing the local Tampa Bay Bucs that night, so we shared some light banter about the game. I had a feeling their engagement session would go perfectly, and I was 100% right. Lauren and John were so patient and accommodating during their engagement session. We started at the very same place where John proposed to Lauren at a pergola near the Vinoy. Then Lauren and John showed me some areas in downtown St. Petersburg, some of which I didn’t know about! After photographing in the hot Florida sun for a bit, we stopped at their favorite local bar “The Ale and The Witch” where they shared a drink and I photographed a few fun moments between them. Afterwards we headed back to our cars, but stopped for several night photographs which I am personally super excited about. This (almost – sorry I was traveling) next day preview gallery is just the tip of the iceberg. This was truly one of my favorite engagement sessions, and I am so excited about their wedding next April at the Station House. Thank you Lauren and John. You made my job as a photographer easy.
