Jessica and Allison were one of my first couples that I booked for 2019. It seems like forever ago when Jessica reached out to me on Facebook and asked if I would do engagement photos for her and Allison. Their engagement session at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor is still one of my favorites – and that is saying a lot because I truly love all of my engagement sessions. They were jut so wonderful to work with, and their wedding was of course no different. From the moment I arrived at their new house (congrats by the way to both of you!) I felt like I was family. Both Jessica and Allison were so emotional. Their love is the kind of love that photographers like myself dream to capture. The crying and true expressions of emotion didn’t stop with Jessica and Allison though as so many of their wonderful family members and friends were also tearing up! The whole intimate backyard setting had a strong vibe of compassion, trust, legacy, and a strong sense of support. Jessica and Allison’s backyard became the perfect little slice of love cut out of Floridian landscape. Their vows were absolutely beautiful, and sincere. Both of their personalities shined bright on Valentine’s Day. There two were just made for each other. Although I travel all over the country for weddings and photograph in both big and small venues, there is just truly something nice and different about intimate backyard weddings. A neighbor even let us use her property for portraits of Jessica and Allison, to get some privacy away from the guests, and to capture a stunning display of sun glistening through trees. Thank you Jessica and Allison (and everyone who was a part of this special wedding) for being so kind and patient with me. I know I pushed both of you a little bit during the portraits, but you also made my job so easy. I can’t wait for everyone to see this next day preview blog post!
