As a New Jersey wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing some beautiful locations over the years. Whether it’s the scenery, style, or staff, each venue has its way of standing out among the crowd.

And there’s a new venue on the block that is shining in many ways: The Park Loft.

The Park Loft New Jersey Wedding Venue

What began as a dance hall in 1941, The Park Loft is now a special event venue restored in speak-easy style.

Located in Oceanport, NJ, this venue is a stunning blend of modern and vintage elements, making it a perfect mix for couples wanting a unique space for their wedding day.

The Park Loft boasts high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light for photos. 

I like that this place has history but doesn’t have a stuffy, old castle feel. It’s retro with a fresh, luxurious twist. And everything fits together so well, from the art deco patterns on the floors and walls to the matte black and gold color palette. When you walk into any part of The Park Loft, you’ll see that attention to detail is top-notch.  

Indoor and Outdoor Options

The indoor event space is massive and spreads out over two expansive floors. The Dance Hall on the bottom floor can accommodate up to 200 seated guests. So, you can have your ceremony inside The Park Loft or in the open-air covered outdoor space, The Belvedere.

For cocktail hour, consider following the floating steel and glass stairs inside the Dance Hall to the wraparound mezzanine, where your guests can enjoy drinks in an indoor or outdoor atmosphere.

In addition to the main rooms, The Park Loft also offers a number of smaller spaces that can be used for more intimate gatherings. These include a cozy lounge area, a private bridal/groom suite, and a separate room for cocktail hour – each thoughtfully designed and decorated.

Excellent Food, Excellent Service

Of course, no wedding venue would be complete without excellent catering options. And as someone who loves to cook, I can tell you that The Park Loft delivers when it comes to food. The venue offers a range of customizable menus created by Executive Chef Thomas Schoborg and Chef De Cuisine Zack Houck.
