A Journey Sparked by Serendipity

Tiffany can trace her lifelong connection to photography to a serendipitous moment when she stumbled upon a photograph of her younger self.

About eight years ago, Tiffany’s grandmother, who had raised her, passed away. While clearing her grandmother’s apartment, Tiffany’s sister discovered a treasure trove of old photographs. She texted Tiffany, acknowledging her as the family’s photographer, and urged her to sort through the stacks of prints.

As Tiffany sifted through the memories, she stumbled upon a precious photograph of herself at around 10 or 11 years old. In the picture, she was sitting on the steps of a building, proudly clutching one of her cherished cameras. This poignant discovery reaffirmed her innate passion for photography.

From that point on, her love for the art form grew. Over the years, she honed her skills as an assistant and second photographer, breaking barriers as one of the few female artists in the male-dominated wedding industry. Her unyielding determination and love for storytelling eventually led her to photograph full-time. 

A Match Made in Photo Heaven

About six years ago, Tiffany crossed paths with Mike Zawadzki, and what started as a late-night photography discussion on Facebook blossomed into an unbreakable friendship.

Both photographers, each with unique strengths, complement one another perfectly. Tiffany’s nurturing nature and Mike’s artistic vision create a solid dynamic. 

Tiffany and Mike’s approach to photography has an undeniable consistency. And under Mike’s guidance, Tiffany has honed her editing skills to match his distinctive style.

A studious and visionary person, Tiffany’s passion for learning led her to observe Mike closely as he edited photos, seeking insights into his creative process. She assisted him during shoots, sometimes adopting a secondary role, silently observing his techniques and eagerly questioning him about camera settings and the thoughts behind each image. 

Having spent considerable time working alongside Mike, Tiffany’s skill set has evolved to the point where she can effortlessly emulate his approach. As a result, the fusion of their work reveals a remarkable cohesiveness, showcasing their successful teamwork.

More Than a Photographer

In addition to her photography skills, Tiffany’s nurturing personality and advocacy skills have made her an invaluable asset to her clients. She is not just another vendor at their wedding but a confidant and a reliable source of support.

Tiffany’s couples trust her to capture their special moments and guide them through the process. She takes on multiple roles—fixing hair, adjusting makeup, drying tears, and sewing dresses if needed.

For her, being a photographer isn’t just about capturing pictures; she becomes an integral part of the couple’s special day. She compares herself to a bridesmaid, forming genuine connections with the family and making everyone feel at ease.
